Top-5 books by Christofer Johnsson:
Bulgakov — ”Master and Margarita”
Simply the best fictional book ever written. Anyone interested in literature should read it or die ignorant of the greatest treasure of human bibliography.
Bulgakov — ”Diaboliad”
Bulgakov is my fave author, so I could have mentioned several of his books in my top 5. It’s an even struggle between this one and ”Heart of a Dog”, but I pick this one for the great title.
Herman Hesse — “Narcissus and Goldmund”
Hesse would be my second fave author. This book has the most beautiful language I have ever read. I felt like learning Latin and ancient Greek after reading this book, as the descriptions of them where so enchanting and passionate.
Herman Hesse — ”Sidharta”
An amazing journey that no one but Hesse could have made so well. A short novel, but contains so much.
George Orwell — ”1984”
Orwell didn’t write fiction, he was a prophet who dressed his visions with the clothes the imagination of the 40’s. I also loved his ”Animal Farm” when I read it as a kid (I should re-read it as an adult).
Top-5 movies by Christofer Johnsson:
Clockwork Orange (1971)
I love old dystopian science fiction. This movie really has everything.
Same with this one. Absolutely brilliant dystopian retro science fiction.
Naked Lunch (1991)
I just love these type of totally twisted old movies. This could potentially be the most bizarre movie ever that made it to cinemas.
One of the saddest movies ever.
Rat Race (2001)
One of the funniest movies ever.
I’m also a huge fan of Ingmar Bergman and several of his movies would be in the remaining top 10.
